Tesla is changing the car industry forever. With fully electric cars that can drive themselves and have peak performances. And Elon Musk is changing the world for the better with his innovations.

In 2008, Tesla introduced the Roadster to the market. And this was the first car that Tesla has ever built. Elon Musk knew that creating the first car is going to be expensive. Because of that, the Tesla roadster was built as a premium sports car, priced at $98,950. This fully electric car had a 244miles range, and this was very impressive for an electric car to have that sort of range in 2008. And the top speed was 125 miles per hour, and it had an acceleration of 0-6mph in 3.9 seconds.

The Tesla Model S was introduced in 2012. At that time, electric cars were expensive and had a short-range due to bad battery life. The Model S changed it all. It was a luxury sedan car priced at $57,400. And it had a top speed of 130 miles per hour. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and, it had an amazing range of 265 miles. The Model S was considered one of the safest electric cars. And it had a 5-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

In 2016 the model S was updated, and this was also known as the facelift. In the same year, Autopilot came available for the model S. With autopilot mode, the driver was able to take the hands off the steering wheel while driving. The car was able to steer, accelerate, and brake within its lane. Although the autopilot has been around for years, tesla cars can’t fully drive themselves yet. The CEO of the company Elon Musk assured that fully self-driving will come to tesla cars in the later part of 2020.

Now the model 3 has a ludicrous mode where the car can go up to a top speed of 163 miles per hour. And the model 3 can now go 0-60mph in just 2.3 seconds. This timing is even quicker than the 3 million dollars Bugatti Chiron.

The production of the Tesla model x was started in 2015. Model X is a seven-passenger, mid-size luxury SUV. And it is widely known for its falcon doors. The base price was around $80000 when the car came out to the market. With a range of impressive 250miles and a top speed of 155mph, this was one of the fastest SUVs at that time.  Later on, a ludicrous mode was added to the model X, making it more powerful. And currently with the upgrades car has a massive range of 305 miles.

From the start, Elon Musk wanted to make his cars affordable for the mass market. In 2017, Tesla introduced the Model 3, which had a starting price of just $35000. The Model 3 had a top speed of 162mph and a range of 322 miles. The Tesla Company has sold over 400,000 Model 3’s, thanks to the high quality and affordability.

And tesla had planned to release few cars later this year. Model Y, basically a bigger model 3 which has a starting price of $39000. And Tesla has also announced a truck named the Tesla Semi. It is known to be the most comfortable truck with a range of 500 miles. The expected starting price is $150,000.

Tesla also announced a new Tesla roadster with performances that can make it the fastest car in the world. With 250+mph as top speed and a range of 620miles, the car will have a starting price of around $200,000.

The final car Tesla has yet announced is the revolutionary futuristic Cyber truck. Once it is released, it is known to be the fastest pick-up truck.  And it is planned to release in late 2021.

Tesla is not only improving the performances if its cars, but also the world, with a goal towards a zero-emission future.
